Cronos is known as the EVM chain running in parallel to the Crypto.org Chain. It aims to massively scale the DeFi ecosystem, by providing developers with the ability to rapidly port apps from Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains, with funding from Particle B’s $100m EVM fund and access to the 10M+ user base of the Crypto.com ecosystem.
Opting for sustainable growth at Cronos, the chain partnered with DoraHacks to launch a 2-month long hackathon to recruit more tech-savvy developers and grow the ecosystem. Should early-stage projects be related but not limited to DeFi, NFT, GameFi, Web3, Metaverse, and the Cronos ecosystem.
While the $500K USD prize pool still awaits to be shared, DoraHacks is thrilled to have this opportunity to review the workshops’ highlights with all Cronos fans, DoraHacks members, and the tech-savvy developer community. Now go grab some popcorn and sit comfortably for workshops spoilers!

8 Cronos workshops have been live-streamed and uploaded on the DoraHacks Youtube channel for educational purposes. By far, the videos have been streamed over 5,000 times from the globe and roughly 200 shares on Croonos’ Twitter account. Tech-savvy can be inspired by the forefront blockchain expertise while watching and learning the cutting-edge technology on the Cronos ecosystem. The ethos is to deliver and inspire people’s interest in the blockchain industry, the multi-chain ecosystem, and the Cronos chain sustainability.
Uploaded workshops covered a broad range of innovative blockchain topics with the purpose of intriguing both tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy audiences. Audiences are invited to learn about NFTs, staking, DeFi, dApp, and more!
