On Monday, August 19th, both Reuters and Yahoo Finance published a press release announcing the launch of DoraHacks’ equity crowdfunding campaign on Republic. The article gives a little bit of our company’s background, some details about our equity crowdfunding campaign, and our vision for the tech-recruiting space. It’s an honor to share the campaign news with thousands of readers from the two international media outlets. Moving forward, we’ll work closely with different publications to get the media exposure we need.

With the equity crowdfunding campaign’s launch, DoraHacks has become the first company to offer tokenized equity to investors on Republic. In the future, those digitized shares might be tradable on global exchanges, giving earlier liquidity to investors. According to our founder, Jiannan Zhang, tokenizing DoraHacks’ preferred shares can offer investors with maximum flexibility. Investors don’t need to wait until an exit opportunity to trade out their shares of DoraHacks; instead, they can do so on the blockchain at any time following the lock-up period.

Just a little over a month ago, DoraHacks had “The 4th Industrial Revolution” Hackathon 2019. It was one of the biggest offline hackathon events worldwide. There were more than 1k participants, not including our team and our business partners, in attendance and hundreds of projects were produced.
Following the success of “The 4th Industrial Revolution” Hackathon 2019, we proudly announced our next global hackathon, “The 4th Industrial Revolution” Hackathon 2020. We will continue to set up different tracks for hackers including 5G, IoT, AI, AR/VR, Blockchain and more.
