What is Hack Austin?
Hack Austin is a Web3 Blockchain Hackathon held by DoraHacks in Austin, Texas on May 15–16th. It's open for project submission starting from 12pm May 15th, and closes at 12pm May 16th.
The program encourages and supports early-stage developer projects that build next-generation web3 and blockchain products. All participants can submit their projects on DoraHacks’ blockchain developer platform https://hackerlink.io/en/Grant?type=Hack%20Austin to win a slice of the $21000 grand prize pool!
If you have any questions, you can ask them in the Telegram group chat
How is the Prize Pool Distributed?
The $21000 prize pool will be divided into 2 portions:
$16000 will be allocated proportionally based on the number of votes each team gets from the judge panel and other hacker teams;
the other $5000 will be allocated based on the popularity of each project (as determined by the online community votes);
In addition, each team can get direct donation from the community. When community members vote on the project, they’re making direct donations to the project and become the project’s sponsors.
