DoraHacks Invites You to HackIndia Online Hackathon 2019 and Win from Cash Prize Pool of 100,000 Rupees

Hello and welcome to DoraHacks‘ First Online Hackathon HackIndia!

This year, we are coming back to India with the first Online Hackathon which connects hackers and champions the next generation of creators who solve the real world problems with programming and engineering skills!

What’s HackIndia?

DoraHacks HackIndia is an online hackathon where hackers come together to DoraHacks HackHub and to showcase the amazing range of ideas, and competing for a continue growing Cash prize pool of starting at 100,000 INR donated by Eric Zhang.

The panel of judges will be holding 200 vote tickets, while each tickect worth 500 INR. The judges will be having 4 ticks to vote each person, and the cash prize pool will grow as some of the judges and our sponsors will add their donations to the cash prize pool.

Who you will be hacking with？

The roster of DoraHacks HackIndia’s judging panel will be formed with fifty opinion leaders, CEOs, CTOs, and professionals from high profile companies, communities and universities.

How to enter？

Step 1: You could team up of up to 5 members, or just participate by individual to win the prizes by yourself.
Step 2: Sign up on DoraHacks HackHub by April 10 (If you’re having trouble accessing/loggin the HackHub, please use our provided Registration Form). Please note, each team member will set up your own registration as we will need to contact each of you for receiving cash prizes.
Step 3: After signing up, DoraHacks crew will be guiding you to submit your work via WhatApp, and you will be invited to DoraHacks’ HackIndia WhatsApp Group at the same time.
Step 4: Submit your project by April. 15, 2019.

How to win from 100,000 INR Cash Prizes

All the teams and individuals who submit a project will have a chance to win from the 100,000 INR cash prize pool.
The Judge panel will be holding 200 vote tickets, each judge will be holding 4 ticks of 500 INR each)
Each judge will be voting for their favourite 4 projects by April 15 until the the tickets run out. (Which means the sooner you submit your work, the bigger chance you will win.)
The winners will be notified and announced on both HackIndia WhatsApp Group and DoraHacks’ official Twitter and Facebook group.
The first, sencond, and third prize winners will be reciving an certificate and being interviewed by DoraHacks, and have a blog post about their entry and published on DoraHacks’ social media.

What Can you Create？

The theme of HackIndia is “Problem Solving”.
Projects including Apps, DApps, AI modules, Standardized Industrial Solutions, Games, Hardware Hacks and Creative Designs that solve the real world problems are all welcomed to join the competition.
Participants have the opportunity to choose from different tracks based on your interests and skills.

Eligibility?

The Online Hackathon is open to everyone.
No matter you are a hacker, a creator, a developer, a designer, a student or early-stage entrepreneurs. If you can solve a problems in life or work by using their programming / engineering skills, you are eligible to attend!

Time?

Registration: Registration closes on April 10, 2019.
Entry Submissions: The submission of HackIndia will be opened from March 15 to April 15.
